The College guarantees graduate students two years of housing in College accommodation. Graduates live outside the main College site in a number of buildings, including the Holywell Ford area, 1 Rose Lane, Cowley Place, the Daubney Building and Professor’s House and a number of properties on High and Longwall Streets. Graduate rooms have a continuous licence to occupy for nine months from October to June, with the option to request summer accommodation as well.
The largest area of graduate accommodation is at Holywell Ford, a few hundred metres from the main College site along the water meadow, with over 50 rooms in a number of buildings. The rest of the graduate accommodation is within a few hundred metres of the Porters’ Lodge on High Street. All accommodation has access to a kitchen, although some kitchens are larger than others.
The charges for all single rooms include weekly cleaning, utilities, bed linen, which is changed weekly, and a mini-fridge. Rooms are divided into a number bands reflecting the quality and size of the room, and the latest prices can be found on the College accommodation information page.
The only disabled bathroom at Holywell Ford is not ensuite, but is next to a relatively large student room, has an accessible kitchen and laundry nearby.
