There are a number of mailing lists for MCR members.
This is a mailing list for the entire MCR maintained by College, and you must be a member of this, as it is used for important announcements. If you aren’t getting emails from this list, email the computer office at firstname.lastname@example.org explaining that you are a new MCR member but haven’t been added to the list.
This email address is used by the MCR committee to let you know about important notices and things going on in the MCR, and is the list Have I Got News For You (HIGNFY), the weekly MCR news email, is sent to during term time. New graduates are normally added automatically at the start of each year, but if that hasn’t happened, please subscribe to the list by sending a blank email to email@example.com, and follow the instructions.
This is an unofficial, opt-in mailing list maintained by the MCR which can be used by any member of the MCR to post a message about any topic (subject to moderation, of course) to other members. Please make use of it if you’re trying to buy or sell something, advertise something, or just want someone to play a game with in the MCR!
To join the mailing list, send a blank email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Reply to the email you receive to confirm your subscription.
You can post to the mailing list by sending an email to email@example.com from the email address you used to subscribe to the list.
To leave the mailing list, send a blank email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and reply to the email you receive to confirm.
